The Science of Drafting? No, it's Art.

Rod Thorn has had as much luck in draft day decisions as most NBA GM's, having made the greatest pick ever, Michael Jordan, at #3 in 1984, as well as a solid record with the Nets. But he also had made some mistakes, as everyone does. Thorn, along with other GM's, tries to explain it all, including how the Seattle Sonics helped him avoid a difficult decision in the 2001 draft, one that could have cost the Nets Richard Jefferson.
