The Nets could have two representatives on Serbia's National Team in this year's world championships: Nenad Krstic and draft choice Mile Ilic. The two seven-footers were named to the team's 15-man preliminary roster Tuesday. They begin practice for the World Championships in two weeks. Krstic, who initially had misgivings about joining the team, is guaranteed a slot. Ilic will have to fight for one, but is generally expected to make the team. Krstic agreed to play after meeting Serbia's president June 5.
