Jay Williams came back home Saturday to work out for the Nets. As he has at other stops on his tryout tour, the former Bulls guard said nice things about the team, noting "I know there's a huge opportunity to win here in New Jersey." The Nets are concerned about his quickness and lateral movement, but offered Williams an open invitation to join their summer league team. The Plainfield native says he already has a uniform number picked out no matter where he lands: No. 2...as in second chance. And D'Alessandro reports it's unlikely Kerry Kittles will attempt a comeback of his own.
