After Meeting Serb President, Krstic Agrees to Play in Worlds

Nenad Krstic looks like he is heading to Japan this summer with the Serbian National Team. Credit Serbia's president, Boris Tadic, with the assist. In spite of his--and the Nets' misgivings--the Serb center has reportedly told team officials to expect him at training camp next month. He agreed after a face-to-face meeting with Tadic, a big hoops fan. Net draft choice Mile Ilic will also tryout for the team. Meanwhile, the Nets worked out yet another Balkan seven-footer, Franko Kastropil of Croatia.
