Both CBS Sportsline and ESPN Insider say that the Nets were impressed with the May 31 workout of Brazilian big man Leonardo di Pacce dos Santos, who goes by the nickname of "Morro". CBS listed him among the players who "impressed or intrigued" the Nets' brass while Chad Ford of ESPN says word is that Morro's Nets workout was "solid". Morro, like many Brazilians who have preceded him into the NBA, is a relative unknown. He was the leading shotblocker in Brazil with three a game.
