Jay Williams, the former St. Joe's of Metuchen and Duke star, will work out for the Nets soon, he told reporters in Toronto Thursday. Williams, the second overall pick in the 2002 draft, hasn't played in three years following a motorcyle accident which left him with shattered bones and a severed nerve in his leg. Williams worked out with the Raptors today, his first. When asked who else he would work out with, Williams responded, "New Jersey, L.A., a lot of other teams." He is an unrestricted free agent.
