Robinson Suspended For Five Games

The NBA announced Friday that Clifford Robinson has been suspended for five games (beginning with Game 3) for violating the league's Anti-Drug Program. Robinson was last suspended in February of 2005, just 12 days before he was traded to the Nets. "Obviously we feel very badly about it from a team standpoint," Nets president Rod Thorn said, "[and] from an individual standpoint for Cliff, who has been terrific for us since he's been here and is one of our leaders in our locker room."
