Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix profiles the Nets in the current issue and the subtitle of his article says it all: "When did the streaking Nets enter the discussion about NBA title contenders? Around the same time that 33-year-old Jason Kidd reentered the conversation about the league's elite point guards". Mannix reveals, among other things, how Lawrence Frank regularly clips articles that dis Kidd and shows them to the Nets captain as a motivational tool. It apparently works.
