Columnists Strike a Balance: Carter is OK, Kidd is the Best

Vince Carter wakes up this morning the leading scorer in the NBA playoffs, averaging 32 points per game. Columnists took note of Carter's recovery after Game 2 but credited a lot of the Nets' Game 2 response to Jason Kidd and the balance--both on the court and in psychic terms--he brings to the team. And to make sure everyone is paying close attention, Charley Rosen has introduced his "soft-o-meter", which he calibrates with the Nets.
