Crunching Sunday's Numbers and Wondering about Kidd

Dumpy is back and he's crunching the numbers from Sunday's Game One loss. Richard Jefferson was the best Net player when it came to plus-minus rating and the starters performed well as a unit, but there's nothing that stands out to give us a convincing reason as to why the Nets lost the game. Dave D'Alessandro and Peter Vecsey don't need to look at the numbers. Neither thinks Jason Kidd was at the top of his game. After reiterating that Vince Carter's defense and shot selection could have been better D'Alessandro says that Kidd was probably suffering from a little rust. Vecsey believes Kidd was responsible for letting Carter take too many shots.
