Bruce Ratner told Brooklyn sports writers this week that they won't be covering the hometown Nets til the 2009-10 season. At a "State of the Nets" luncheon, the Nets owner claimed delays were to be expected. Ratner also admitted, "I didn’t expect to have such a good time with it. I thought I really wouldn’t really get into it as much."
And he is getting instruction on the finer points of the game from a key employee, getting sit-downs and video sessions from Lawrence Frank.
