Martin Johnson of the New York Sun says more than any other game, New Jersey's win Monday exposed the Suns weakness on defense. By posting up a stronger Jason Kidd against Steve Nash, then having him hit Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter with pinpoint passing, the Nets negated the Suns' best defensive tactic: packing the middle with athletic if not very strong or tall players. Johnson says look for other teams, starting with Detroit, to do the same thing.
