These are good times for Rod Thorn. Like Grizzlie GM Jerry West and Grizzlie announcer Rod Huntley, Thorn has an interest in Kevin Pittsnogle and the other West Virginia Mountainers beyond the professional. Thorn, who guarded West in WVU practices as a freshman--and still bears the psychological scars, says he expects to reminisce soon with West and celebrate this year's Sweet 16 entry.
