Carter & Kidd: Individual Effort Equals Team Wins

When Vince Carter scores 40+ points, Jason Kidd hands out 15+ assists or gets a triple-double, the Nets are more likely to win. That's a no-brainer. But 82games.com notes something else: the Nets' winning record under those circumstances is better than when Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson or Steve Nash apply their heroics. Over the past two seasons, the Nets are 6-1 when Carter scores 40+, the Lakers 17-12 when Bryant does. The Nets are 6-1 when Kidd hands out 15+, the Suns 17-5 when Nash does.
