Nets Roll Over Knicks For 12th Straight at Home

The Knicks came into Continental Airlines Arena Wednesday night having lost six straight and 12 of their last 13 games. Once the Nets recovered from a somewhat sluggish start, New York did not put up much of a fight and New Jersey cruised to a blowout win, their 12th straight victory at home. It was another balanced attack as the Nets assisted on 31 of their 34 field goals, topping their ratio from Monday night, which had been the highest of the season. Vince Carter led the Nets with 22 points, including a pair of highlight three-point plays. Richard Jefferson added 18 points and 8 assists, and Jason Collins and Nenad Krstic each grabbed 8 boards. The Nets have now won 21 of the last 24 meetings between the two teams.
