The Knicks arrive in the Meadowlands Wednesday, sputtering and wounded, losers of six straight and 12 of their last 13. Even with new point forward Jalen Rose playing well, New York cannot win for losing, falling to the Clippers Tuesday night on a rare 5-second inbounds violation as time ran out. The Nets, of course, have their own streak, an 11-game home winning streak that is the franchise's third longest. Stephon Marbury is not expected to play, a strained shoulder keeping him out.
