The Nets continue to place more emphasis on their marketing efforts, this week naming an NBA executive as their chief marketing officer, a first for the franchise. Tom Glick will report directly to Nets' CEO, Brett Yormark. The 37-year-old, who was key in helping the Hornets move to Oklahoma City, will focus on the Nets' transition to Brooklyn. The Nets' marketing efforts have already led to a 16% increase in attendance and a 67% increase in TV ratings.
