The Heat are hot. They have won four straight and will have their two big stars, Shaquille O'Neal and Dwayne Wade, starting in the NBA All-Star Game in Houston. Of course, the Nets had their biggest road win of the season against the Heat last month, the memorable game where Vince Carter tied an NBA record with 23 free throws in the fourth quarter on his way to a 51-point performance. The Nets will be going for the 10th straight home win in the afternoon contest.
