Nets Continue Dominance of Knicks

The Nets ruined Steve Francis' Knicks debut at Madison Square Garden Friday night with their 22nd victory in the last 25 games between the two teams (including the 2004 playoff sweep). New Jersey jumped out to a 10-0 lead, never trailed, and led by as many as 21 points, but they could never really put the Knicks away. The game wasn't as close as the final score indicated though, as the Nets got big games from Richard Jefferson (27 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists), Vince Carter (26 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) and Nenad Krstic, who shot a perfect 11-of-11 from the field for 23 points. The Nets have won four straight and now lead the all-time regular season series with the Knicks, 72-71.
