On the road for the second half of a back-to-back, the Nets kept the game ugly for a while Wednesday night against the rested Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena. It was a 35-34 game at halftime, but the pace picked up in the third quarter and the Cavs used an 8-0 run to start the fourth to take control of the game. The Nets closed to within one late, but they couldn't get over the hump as LeBron James led the Cavs to the six-point victory. The Nets shot just 38% from the field for the night, but their 7-17 turnover advantage is what kept it close. James tied Jason Kidd for the league lead with his third triple-double of the season. Vince Carter led the Nets with 29 points while Richard Jefferson added 19.
