Brooklyn Arena Close to Final Approval

In spite of new critiques of its Times Square-like signage, its effect on "Brownstone Brooklyn", its wind tunnel gusts and even anti-Bruce Ratner Christmas carols, the Nets' new arena at the corner of Atlantic and Flatbush avenues in Brooklyn is one step closer today. The Empire State Development Corporation gave its own final approval. Now the plan goes before the Public Authorities Control Board, where a vote is expected by the end of the month.
