As bad as things were after Wednesday's ugly loss to the Rockets, they may have been worse at halftime Friday night in Miami. At that point, the Nets were trailing by four to the Heat, who were missing Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade and James Posey. But the Nets turned things around with a Big-3-fueled 21-0 run midway through the third quarter that gave them an 18-point lead. Miami closed to within eight early in the fourth, but that would be as close as they would get and the Nets put an end to their four-game losing streak. Vince Carter led all scorers with 23 points, adding six boards and nine assists, Richard Jefferson added 22 points and Jason Kidd pitched in 17 points, 10 boards and seven assists.
