Just when the Nets needed him most, to end their losing ways, to compensate for the loss of Nenad Krstic, Vince Carter has supplied the least. Over the past four games, he is shooting at the lowest level of the season. With the exception of his 38-point effort against the Cavs, Carter has looked decidely average. The perennial all-Star says its only a slump, nothing more.
