Nets Finish Strong to Beat Warriors

They were playing hard, but they were far from sharp offensively. On the other end, they were giving up too many transition baskets. But with the game tied midway through the fourth quarter, the Nets found a way to get baskets and get stops. A 9-0 run gave them control of the game down the stretch and they held on to beat the Warriors at the Meadowlands Monday night. Vince Carter struggled once again, but the Nets got a huge night from Nenad Krstic (26 points and 14 boards) and another triple-double from Jason Kidd. In order to match up with the Warriors, Antoine Wright got the start and Bostjan Nachbar saw meaningful minutes for the first time in weeks. He and Hassan Adams combined for 23 points and 12 boards off the bench.
