One step forward. Two steps back. The Nets' offense was off for the second time in as many nights, as they shot just 37% from the field and committed 18 turnovers Saturday night at the Meadowlands. Despite the ugliness, the Nets had the game tied with two minutes to go, but they could not execute down the stretch and Detroit finished the game on an 8-0 run. Nenad Krstic was the lone bright spot for the Nets, scoring 27 points on 9-of-17 from the field. The Big Three shot a combined 12-41 (29%), while the Pistons' backcourt of Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton combined for 53 points on 20-29 shooting.
