With the Nets moving quickly into Manhattan, the Knicks have started beefing up their Brooklyn operations. MSG has announced it has bought into a recreation center at the edge of the borough and will bring in Knick players for events. Meanwhile, the Nets have begun sending their players to community service events in the borough. Richard Jefferson, Jason Collins and Josh Boone hosted an early Thanksgiving at a Brooklyn church. It's a first for the team which has long sponsored such events in New Jersey.
