The Suns came out hot on Friday night, connecting on more than 80% of their shots in the first quarter and running out to an early 20-point lead on their way to their third straight win. Phoenix never trailed, but the Nets' bench made a furious comeback in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to three points in the final minute before Steve Nash sealed the game at the free throw line. Marcus Williams led the comeback, scoring 27 points on 11-of-17 from the field and Hassan Adams gave the Nets good energy off the bench as well, scoring 8 points in 14 minutes. Williams' total matches the NBA rookie high for the season, tieing him with Adam Morrison. Adams scored his first points as an NBA player. The Nets turned the ball over 21 times and recorded just 13 assists on 39 field goals.
