The Nets led most of the way in Indiana Friday night, and when the Pacers came back to take the lead midway through the fourth quarter, New Jersey answered the bell by executing down the stretch and finishing the game on a 10-2 run. For the first time this season, the Nets have won two straight games. Vince Carter led all scorers with 28 points while Jason Kidd filled the boxscore with 17, 9, 6 and 3. Nenad Krstic continued his solid play with 18 and 7 while Clifford Robinson had his second straight big game off the bench with 14 points on 5-of-6 from the field. Marcus Williams did play despite his bruised heel. Getting to the line may have been the key to the game, especially down the stretch, as the Nets got their 30 times (14 in the fourth) to Indiana's 15.
