News that former Net Kenyon Martin had his second microfracture surgery this week was yet another reminder of how lucky New Jersey has been with the procedure. Of all the high profile players to undergo microfracture--drilling small holes in the knee to encourage the growth of new cartilage--Jason Kidd has had the best luck, as Wednesday's performance ("vintage", so says the Sez) proved once again. Kidd says that he knows the kids are gunning for him, and that's a good thing.
