Bruce Ratner's Atlantic Yards project passed another critical milestone Wednesday when New York's Empire State Development Corp. certified the site's environmental impact study. In doing so, the state corporation rejected critics' suggestions that it be built without the Nets' new arena. The ESDC is expected to approve the plan in next few weeks, the next to last step before ground is broken. Meanwhile, the ESDC released new renderings of the arena entrance.
