Two weeks into the season and John Hollinger already thinks the 2006 draft could go down as one of the worst ever, rivalling the historically poor 2000 selection. Summer league and preseason hype didn't help, he adds. Even though Marcus Williams is averaging 8.0 ppg off the bench, he is described as another rookie "caught in the hype machine". Hollinger notes that the Nets' rookie has averaged more turnovers than assists and is shooting poorly from deep. Not everyone is impresed.
