Last year, the Nets didn't give up 116 points in a game til the last two weeks of the season. This year, they did it in the first two weeks. For a team that prides itself on defense, that is not a good sign. While other contenders are also not defending well and the Nets are missing one of their best, in Richard Jefferson, they realize that without solid "D", it will be a long season. Rod Thorn thinks Nenad Krstic has improved defensively...but not enough.
