First it was about basketball, then architecture or eminent domain or, most recently, race. Now, moving the Nets to Bruce Ratner's gargantuan Atlantic Yards is stirring a deeper, intellectual debate in the pages of n+1 magazine. Jonathan Liu, a self-professed Nets fan--and netsdaily reader, writes that he has come to love Ratner and suggests his critics yearn for "a comfortable, impossible stasis." Nikal Saval thinks Ratner has filled a "void in ourselves", which apparently is not a good thing.
