Nets Adjusting to the New Ball...But Not Happily

The same criticism that has resounded around the league's training camps is being heard in East Rutherford just not as loudly: the NBA's new ball is not a good thing. The microfiber ball is too slick, too different in design and could take a whole lot getting used to. Vince Carter even predicted it would hurt shooting percentages. Stu Jackson, the ball's godfather, came calling Wednesday asking for constructive criticism.
