One day after critics sued to stop Bruce Ratner's Atlantic Yards project, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg once again endorsed the plan, which is anchored by the new Nets' arena. In his weekly radio call-in show and in comments to reporters, Bloomberg described the critics as "misguided, myopic, and selfish", the suit as "frivolous" and Ratner as "as good a developer as you can find in terms of building quality projects." Bloomberg has a vote on the project's final approval.
