The Nets announced on Thursday that they have waived Awvee Storey and Matt Walsh. Each had played in all seven preseason games so far, with Walsh averaging 4.4 points in 11.6 minutes and Storey averaging 3.4 in 7.6. Because he has been injured, Darvin Ham cannot be waived until Monday.
