John Hollinger's pessismism about the Nets' chances this season continues. The New York Sun and ESPN basketball writer pens that the team will go no better than 41-41, one game worse than the Celtics. After calling New Jersey "overrated" in his ESPN analysis, Hollinger goes further in the Sun, decrying Jason Kidd's age, describing Nenad Krstic as "hardly special", and declaring the bench "a total mess". Hollinger does not mention any of the Nets' rookie class.
