Nets Hold On For Second Straight Win

Last week, the Nets blew a 23-point lead in Boston. On Tuesday, the Celtics scored 13 straight points to tie the game in the final seconds, but a pair of Matt Walsh free throws with 2.6 seconds on the clock won it for the Nets at the Meadowlands. Richard Jefferson led all scorers with 26 points, 24 coming in the first half. Marcus Williams looked sharp in his return to action and Jason Kidd dished out 12 assists after sitting out a couple of days. As a team, the Nets recorded 33 assists on 41 field goals, but they turned the ball over 24 times. Mile Ilic was the only Net in uniform who did not play, but he feels he's getting stronger and his English is better too.
