The Nets finally got their first preseason win of 2006 with a 10-point victory over the Sixers at the Meadowlands. New Jersey was sharp offensively, shooting 54% from the field, led by Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson, who combined for 39 points on 13-23. Antoine Wright and Bostjan Nachbar were solid off the bench once again, as was Hassam Adams, who pitched in 10 points on 4-4 from the field. Marcus Williams and Jason Collins sat out.
