One by one, the nation's basketball writers are assessing the Nets chances this season, based on what they did last season and what they did in the off-season. First impressions are that New Jersey will once again dominate the Atlantic Division, but will face big odds unless they can find a reliable scorer to take the load off what the writers now admit is the Big Four. John Hollinger of ESPN is the most pessimistic, saying the Nets' injury-free season is not likely to be repeated and that spells trouble.
