Media Day is for taking pictures of everyone in bright shiny uniforms and for talk of a championship. The Nets didn't disappoint in either area. Carter said it again: he wants to end his career as a Net. Jefferson pronounced himself (what else) insanely optimistic. Jason Kidd is excited about the possibilities. Lawrence Frank preached confidence and some patience. A toned up Antoine Wright declared, "I won’t settle for not making the rotation". And Jay Williams was just happy to have a job.
