As part of Sports Illustrated's season preview, an opposing team's scout gives the lowdown on the Nets. He expects a big (contract) year from Vince Carter, but believes VC will leave for Orlando next summer. He also sees good things from Richard Jefferson, but believes that Jason Kidd's defense has fallen off, as has overall team D. Meanwhile, Charley Rosen of FOX Sports suggests the Nets may be in need of "rebooting" in part because he says Vince Carter is 31 years old. Carter is, in fact, 29.
