Earlier this month, John Hollinger suggested that the Nets could be nothing more than a .500 team this year. His thinking? The Nets lucked out last year with few injuries to their top players. That luck, he suggested, would not continue. Now, with a series of injuries hitting the Nets, Hollinger goes further. The Knick bench, while flawed, is deeper than the Nets [also twice as expensive] and makes them better equipped to handle a spate of injuries. Antoine Wright doesn't cut it, says Hollinger.
