No one got hurt...other than some feelings. After Lawrence Frank used effective minutes from his starters to roll up a 23-point third quarter lead, he pulled them and let the second and, later, the third team take over. The result was a 94-90 Celtic win, triggered mainly by Leon Powe (11 points and 15 rebounds) and Ryan Gomes (13 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter. For the Nets, Vince Carter, Nenad Krstic and Boki Nachbar all had double figures at the half. Carter finished with 23 and Krstic with 21. Nachbar who had a rough second half, finished with 11. It was Jay Williams' best game thus far, at least on offense, as he finished with 8 points on 4-for-7 shooting. Antoine Wright, starting in place of a resting Richard Jefferson, had another good outing, finishing with 12 points and doing a decent job defending Paul Pierce. Wright remains the team's leading scorer in preseason at 17.8 ppg.
