Agent Steve Kauffman, calling Lawrence Frank one of the NBA's most stubborn coaches, told the Daily News that Frank caused a rift between the Nets and his client, Jeff McInnis. Moreover, Kauffman accused Frank of bad-mouthing McInnis to other NBA coaches, a charge Frank denies. The criticism has hurt the Nets' ability to trade McInnis, Kauffman warned. The Nets have been trying to dump McInnis who is not in camp but will cost them $5.1 million in salary and luxury taxes this year if they can't move him.
