When the Nets made their deal to extend the team's lease on Continental Airlines Arena through 2013, there was an odd addendum. The team could drop out of the lease without penalty if the team moved to Brooklyn, as planned, or Queens. Why Queens? No one will say. Meanwhile, critics of the Brooklyn arena are pushing for more information as well as a variety of transportation improvements, including free MetroCards for ticketholders and ferry rides from New Jersey to Brooklyn.
