The Nets got solid offensive performances from Antoine Wright, Marcus Williams and Bostjan Nachbar off the bench in Toronto, but that wasn't enough to withstand a well-balanced Raptors team (without Chris Bosh). Wright led all scorers with 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting (2-3 from 3 pt. range), Nachbar added 17 on 6-of-9 (3-5) and Williams contributed 16 points and 9 dimes, but had 6 turnovers as well. Nenad Krstic (sore neck) did not play. Vince Carter made his preseason debut, scoring 10 points (on 5-15 from the field) and grabbing 6 boards in 22 minutes. The Nets led the game by as many as 17 points in the second quarter but once the bench entered the game, team defense once again fell apart. Sussman sez: "Oki Boki" and a lot of other things, some of them decipherable.
