Jason Kidd confirmed Friday that he is interested in playing for Team USA next summer, and Jerry Colangelo says that Kidd's agent has contacted him twice about the idea. Kidd says that he had a place on the team this past summer if he wanted it, but he didn't want to make the three-year commitment. Kidd, who won a gold medal in the Sydney Olympics in 2000, is 28-0 in international competition.
