Antoine Wright will not be going to Roanoke in the "D" League after all. Rod Thorn says the Nets did think about sending him to Roanoke, but after injuries to Jeff McInnis and Lamond Murray, Wright has been getting time on the court and so they will keep him in New Jersey...at least for now. Thorn also said that in spite of the injuries, the Nets do not anticipate signing anyone to a 10-day contract. Meanwhile, Vince Carter and Jason Kidd remain noncommital about joining Team USA...with Carter saying, "We'll see".
