Nets' Roster Likely Set for the Season

In his weekly chat, Dave D'Alessandro says those hoping for big changes are likely to be disappointed. Other than "trading for spare parts", D'Alessandro says the Nets are probably "locked into this roster" because of 1) the Nets' have an "unusual" salary structure and 2) the Nets' brass "love their draft picks". Rod Thorn won't trade the picks "unless the circumstances are extraordinary." D'Alessandro gives high praise to Cliff Robinson and Jacque Vaughn and advises "don't count out" Zoran Planinic just yet.
